Look For Ely Bike and Kicksled at Whiteside Park during the Ely Winter Festival and give our gear a try. Stop by the park during the snow carving symposium from 10am-2pm on Saturday, February 8th to find out what a kicksled is and to try it out for yourself!
Kicksledding is well suited for fitness training or just getting around outside in winter. Motion is created by ”kicking” oneself forward as if on a scooter with skis. Bare ice or packed snow serve as the best surfaces for travel.
